Many young Nigerian music artistes with big dreams of becoming the next A-lister often struggle with the finances to make their very first Extended Play, EP, album. This is because the cost of music production can be too big for their lean purse.
To bridge this gap, two young, celebrated music producers, Rado and Guvno are teeming up their efforts to fire up dreams. This is with the maiden edition of their EP HUB bootcamp which aims to produce a four-track EP for each artiste at the cost-effective rate of NGN 100,000. This offer will also cover the cost of music engineering, mastering, among others.
Speaking with TheMediaGood Newspaper on this sterling initiative, the music producer, Rado highlighted the big expectations that many young artistes around him have for 2025 but are yet to fulfill for lack of money.
‘A lot of artistes reached out to me early this year talking about their EPs and albums but fast forward to September, only few of them have achieved the dream. Money is holding them down. Many other producers have the same story.’
Rado, the mix engineer who worked on Samsong’s Zoe and ADM’s State of Mind shared: ‘When I talked about this with my friend, Guvno, we came up with the idea for a bootcamp for music artistes. In the bootcamp, each artiste will get an EP with 4 songs mixed and mastered professionally. They will also have access to the two mix engineers, network with other artistes to enhance their promotion.’
He encouraged upcoming artistes, ‘The best part is we came up with a miracle of just 100,000 naira for all of that. To participate in the EP HUB, reach out via WhatsApp to 08066314958 or 08108508830 to book a seat at the bootcamp.’
TheMediaGood Newspaper can report that with a successful EP, an upcoming artiste can rise in the music industry with musicals leading the charts and trending on the streets. A successful EP will showcase the sound and style of the artiste. It will also help the listening public to get a feel of the artistic dexterity and quality. An EP is longer than a single but shorter than a full album.
