
Leading non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering women to attain leadership roles, Women in Business,.Management and Pubic Service (WIMBIZ) has confirmed the theme and venue for this year’s annual conference which gathers thousands of women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, policymakers, and visionaries from across Africa and the globe. TheMediaGood Newspaper can report that the landmark event themed ‘O.W.N’ will take place on November 6–7, 2025 at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Executive Director of WIMBIZ, Omowunmi Akingbohungbe hinted that the theme: “O.W.N -Own. Walk. Nurture.” reflects WIMBIZ’s commitment to inspiring women to take ownership of their journeys, walk with purpose and authenticity, and nurture the next generation of leaders. It captures the essence of leadership, resilience, and community core values that continue to define the WIMBIZ movement.
Akingbohungbe confirmed that over the two-day event, attendees can expect thought-provoking keynote speeches, engaging panel sessions, networking opportunities, inspiring conversations and entertainment that will empower women to lead boldly and create impact across sectors.
She said: “At WIMBIZ, we believe that women have the power to shape economies, societies, and futures. This year’s theme, ‘O.W.N’., is a clarion call for women to embrace their power, walk their path with courage, and nurture others along the way.
