The kind of heat these days is not playing with anybody. If the power holders now decide to safe-keep your electricity supply, that’s double whammy!
Seriously, climate change is real. If your people do not understand global warming, recent events makes it easy for you to explain. I hear South Sudan is closing her schools due to the excessive heat. Humanity failed herself!
It seems to me that it is almost unlikely that humanity will be able to reverse the impact of her misuse and abuse of the most important resource God provided for her – Earth. Today, when it’s hot, it’s very hot; when it’s rainy, it’s heavy, when it’s cold, it’s very cold. That’s the reality of our times, it’s been a long time coming!
Friends, stay safe out there. Do whatever you can to protect yourself from the heat waves. Try as much as you can to stay indoors during the hot afternoon, maximize the early morning and evenings for commute. Light clothing and short sleeves. Drink plenty of water.
