MOSES OLADIMEJI IS NEW POCACOV CHAIRMAN IN LAGOS, SAYS APPOINTMENT ‘DEEPLY PERSONAL TO ME’

The advocacy initiative of the Nigeria Police against cultism, Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) has announced Mr. Moses Oladimeji as its new Chairman to champion the Initiative to the next level in Lagos State. The NPF nationwide initiative which is built on the framework to empower youths with the capacity to avoid cultism and other vices had the LSSTF Board Member, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan as its inaugural Chairman in Lagos.

The letter communicating the appointment was signed by the POCACOV National Coordinator, ACP Olabisi Okuwobi. It informed the highflying entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mr. Moses Oladimeji that ‘your responsibilities in this role will include but not limited to the Presiding and overseeing the activities of POCACOV initiatives within Lagos State. You are expected to provide strategic leadership and direction to POCACOV in alignment with the national objectives of POCACOV. You are equally expected to work closely with the South West Zonal Chairman and the Police Coordinator in the state as well as various stakeholders in the state.

”Your duty includes execution or community-oriented programs in the state towards drastic reduction in crimes and vices as may be directed with the Force HQ preventive policing techniques’, Okuwobi informed.

Expressing his excitement about the new opportunity which he described as ‘deeply personal to me’, Mr. Moses Oladimeji wrote: ‘This appointment is not just an official responsibility – it is deeply personal to me. I see this as a personal ministry and a divine calling – a mission dedicated to changing lives, rehabilitating those once lost to cultism, and reintegrating repentant individuals back into society in a productive way.”

I pledge to provide strategic leadership, foster meaningful collaboration with stakeholders, and drive impactful community-oriented programs in alignment with POCACOV’s national objectives’, Oladimeji noted.
