All through the Scriptures, you’ll see GOD choosing to work through the least expected people – ‘underdogs’ as it were, to lead, deliver or bless His People. Out of Jesse’s sons, GOD chose David – the least of them all: He chose Saul the shy guy; He chose Gideon who would rather hide than fight, He chose Jephthah – the illegitimate child; He chose twelve disciples/apostles who were mostly unlearned men, etc. That’s just the uncanny way of the ALMIGHTY GOD.

As I watched ‘Hidden Figures’, it intrigued me to note that GOD chose three women (not men) – three black women (in the time of terrible racism and discrimination) to solve the problem that had prevented America from putting a man in space for years. That’s the Sovereign GOD! I have a deep-seated feeling that the ‘deliverer’ of Nigeria is someone, somewhere insignificant now, that shall be raised by GOD to do the seemingly impossible in turning around this country. It could be you, and it could be me. Keep doing whatever GOOD you can, and GOD will amplify your efforts soon. That’s His Way!
