I used to live in a very beautiful estate – one of the most secure, serene environments in Ibadan. When we moved there 4 years ago, I had only one concern, “Is this how I’ll be seeing caskets every time I’m going home or coming out?”
The estate is very close to UCH, and thus, many coffin dealers have strategically situated themselves near the popular teaching hospital. So, some people want you dead. NO GREE FOR DEM O!
However, contrary to anything my family and I had envisaged would happen this year, BABA GOD moved us to the level where we won’t need to pay rents to anyone anymore! ‘E yin OLUWA logo! Ogoooooooo!’ Although, our new place is slightly farther than where we used to live, but then, THERE’S A SILVER LINING, “Apart from becoming a landlord, I’ll NOT be seeing caskets on a daily basis again o! O tope o!”
You would understand it better if I told you that I could easily have studied medicine, with stellar WAEC results and good JAMB scores, but for the morbid fear I had for blood, and the unpleasant sight of seeing people leave this world, alias death!
There’s a SILVER LINING in everything, including that terrible thing you are going through right now, and the LORD GOD shall make a GREAT WAY for you, in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Amen
Always look for the SILVER LINING!
