WHEN GOD COMES!

If GOD truly comes to many of our services, most of the things we do in churches, and in our private lives, would have long been discarded. There’s hardly anything called the “FEAR OF GOD” in many believers of today.

In Acts 2:42-43, we read, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then FEAR came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.”

Same thing is recorded in Acts 5:5&11, and other places in the Bible. Obviously, GOD is not in many of our gatherings, otherwise, we would have ‘borrowed’ ourselves some sense, FEARED HIM, and changed our ways.

My Pastor told us about a strange thing that happened at a London meeting some years ago. Suddenly, during service, the instrumentalists started breaking their equipment: the guitarist smashed his guitar on the floor; the keyboardist did same. Someone quickly ran to grab the drummer.

I don’t think that was any devil at work, o no! I believe that was GOD manifesting His Awesome Presence, and He was possibly displeased with the manner of instrumentalists playing the equipment I am totally opposed to someone who has played in clubs, or other ‘dark places,’ all night, coming to play in church, just because ‘they are good’ on the instruments.

For all I care, let those instruments remain unused if unbelievers are the only ones available to play them. GOD is more praised, and pleased with BELIEVERS clapping their hands, than sons of Belial dishing out grand tunes with unholy hands/lives.In the Lord’s Prayer, let your Kingdom come happens when the KING in you, and me, comes/manifests. When HE does, there’ll be fewer Ananiases and Sapphiras, and far lesser Achans and Elymases, in our churches. May the LORD’S Manifest Presence be evident more in our church gatherings and fellowships,, in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Amen!

That may mean, getting ready for more dead bodies and sudden blindness in church services niyen o! ‘

Afi k’Oluwa shanu fun wa ni ilu yi ati Ijo Re ni o!’Let’s FEAR GOD, KEEP HIS WORD, and DO HIS WILL!

Hallelujah!
