The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani has said that the Presidential Forest Guards Initiative will strengthen ongoing efforts to combat banditry and other security threats in the state’s forests and rural communities.
Sani made this known on Thursday when he received a delegation from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), that visited the state to inspect the training of more than 1,000 forest guards expected to be deployed to security flashpoints.
