President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has received filmmaker Mr. Ose Oyamendan at the State House in Abuja in preparation for an upcoming documentary on the late politician MKO Abiola.The visit comes ahead of the documentary’s scheduled premiere on October 1, 2026, Nigeria’s Independence Day.
The film is expected to explore Abiola’s political legacy, his role in the annulled 1993 presidential election, and his enduring place in Nigeria’s democratic history.
Oyamendan’s engagement with the President underscores growing attention to historical documentaries that document key figures and events in Nigeria’s political development.
