I joined my Aunty Kemi Muyi Adeniyi at her church today after paying a visit to her office. It was great joining a community of believers in worship.
Interestingly, soon after we had the praise session, the Pst. Mrs. mounts the podium and introduces something that’s so unusual, at least by how I have experienced it so far. She announced the upcoming special event of the church holding this weekend and asked the church members to bring out their phones so that they can reach out through calls to a long list of both regular members and others who have attended the church previously.
Even though, it was my first time there, I also joined the kingdom service and was able to speak to about 5 persons with over 20 others, either unreachable, switched off, or unpicked. The high point for me is that the first person I spoke to expressed her huge willingness to come but would be unable to because she is traveling out of the country tomorrow. I was excited for her, prayed with her, and wished her Godspeed!
This Anagkazo operation by the church would have reached at least 200 persons in an hour. That’s tremendous.
To Anagkazo in Greek is to compel people in. To Anagkazo is to encourage people to join. It’s time to save the lost. It’s time to urge them in. Urge them in!!
