Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Police Command
The Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command, CP Olugbenga Adepoju has reassured residents of the Command’s robust security measures put in place to ensure peace and security during and after the Easter celebrations.
The press statement of the Rivers State PPRO, CSP Grace Iringe-Koko hinted, “The Rivers State Police Command, under the able leadership of the Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, psc, mnips, wishes to inform the general public of the robust security measures put in place to ensure a peaceful, safe, and seamless Easter celebration across the State.”
According to the statement, “In line with this directive, the Command has emplaced adequate security arrangements, including the strategic deployment of personnel to churches, recreational centres, major highways, motor parks, and other vulnerable points. Furthermore, Area Command, Tactical teams and Divisions have been fully mobilized to forestall criminal activities and ensure prompt response to any security threats.”
“The Commissioner of Police hereby assures residents and visitors steadfast commitment to the protection of lives and property. He enjoined members of the public to remain vigilant, conduct themselves lawfully, and cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and credible information.”
