The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr Ayodele Ogunsan has joined global security leaders to participate in the prestigious Security & Policing 2026 Conference currently taking place at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre in the United Kingdom.
The high-level security gathering, organised by the UK government through the Joint Security & Resilience Centre (JSaRC) under the UK Home Office, runs from today Tuesday 10th March – Thursday 12th March 2026. The conference brings together senior government officials, law-enforcement leaders, and leading security technology providers from around the world.
Like previous editions, Security & Policing 2026 is regarded as one of the most influential global forums on national security and resilience. The event provides a platform for strategic discussions on emerging security threats, modern policing techniques, intelligence collaboration, and cutting-edge technologies designed to strengthen public safety.

Participation at the conference is strictly by approval of the UK Home Office, with no general public admission underscoring the event’s status as a closed-door gathering for top-level security stakeholders.
Dr. Ogunsan’s presence highlights Lagos State’s growing engagement with international partners in advancing modern security strategies. His insights drawn from the summit would promote ongoing efforts to strengthen community safety, technological surveillance, and policing innovation that LSSTF is currently championing in Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre and West Africa’s economic hub.
The conference also provides opportunities for the LSSTF boss, Ogunsan to have cross-border collaboration aimed at improving intelligence sharing, resilience planning, and law-enforcement capacity which will align Lagos State to global best practices in an increasingly complex global security environment.
